I’ve always been an active person engaging in all sorts of sports so I assumed that yoga wasn’t for

people like me. It was in 2003 that I was driving with my 2 children when I saw a sign that said “Hot Yoga” and I thought to myself that sounds like fun! I went to my first class and instantly loved it, it was such a challenge but at same time very calming. I walked out completely surprised at the experience.

Since then it was always my dream to open up a Hot Yoga studio but the timing never seemed to be right. In 2007 I went to New York and completed my Radiant Child Yoga training and began offering yoga to children and teens at schools, leisure and community centers. Teaching children is such a bounty, they are so pure and innocent that yoga comes very naturally for them, we have so much to learn from them.

My dream of opening a hot yoga studio with my husband Paul showed up, so we decided to take the leap! In 2008 I completed the Baron Baptiste Level 1 & 2 teacher training in Catskills New York and Montana. For me yoga is about breathing and having fun. Those two elements allow us to have a beautiful practice not just on our mat but in our everyday life with our family, friends and strangers that cross our path.
